Data Extraction / Labeling Analyst

Kaliber AI is hiring a Data Extraction/Labeling Analyst to support our work developing next-generation, AI-powered, surgical software solutions. We’re a highly collaborative, mission-driven company and are looking for an established orthopedic device representative/healthcare professional who’s excited about what we’re building and eager to contribute to the development and growth of our products.
 
This position reports to Kaliber’s Director of Data Labeling and will be responsible for achieving predetermined frame extraction quotas, labeling quotas, and quality assurance for labeling outputs, as well as maintaining key relationships with stakeholders through consistent communications and in-person/remote appointments. You will be expected to maintain expert knowledge of orthopedic anatomy/pathology, arthroscopic surgery, orthopedic devices, and procedures by setting an example for the rest of your team members. 

Responsibilities
 

  • Meet and exceed established data labeling objectives 

  • Regularly communicate with the Director of Data Labeling and provide updates about labeling, frame extraction, data workflows, and educational resources

  • Identify the needs of the research team and develop and implement appropriate responses

  • Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all information and data

  • Strictly adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licensing requirements, and company policies and procedures

  • Represent Kaliber AI in interactions with healthcare professionals

  • Work with the Director of Data Labeling and the rest of the data/labeling team – as well as other company employees/contractors and associates – to both give and receive training/mentorship and support team- and company-wide objectives

  • Remain current – including, as is necessary, by participating in ongoing training – on arthroscopic anatomy, product features/benefits, and other critical information relating to the industry, customer, and competitive trends

  • Participate in and attend meetings and professional association meetings outside of regular business hours, as required

Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Demonstrated ability to work with various stakeholders in orthopedics/sports medicine 

  • 2-5 years demonstrated sales success in the arthroscopic or orthopedic industry

  • 2-5 years in healthcare, with a background in arthroscopy or orthopedics

  • Strong desire to learn and ability to retain, understand and apply high-level technical knowledge 

  • Deep understanding of arthroscopic human anatomy as it relates to surgery and respective surgical procedures 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and effectively prioritize tasks

Location
 

This position is open at our St. Louis office, but remote candidates may be considered depending on their qualifications. Some of our positions require employees to be on-site in the office to create a better collaborative and efficient work environment. Employees may have to visit customer sites including medical facilities. Depending on the site's health and safety guidelines, you may be required to have medical screenings or vaccinations to meet site requirements, which may include Covid-19 vaccination and/or testing.
