Head of People Operations

Kaliber AI is hiring an experienced HR professional to join our rapidly growing team and develop and oversee our human resources functions. We're a mission-driven, surgical AI company with a highly collaborative culture and team (which spans multiple continents and includes AI experts, world-renowned surgeons, project management all-stars, and design, communications, and finance pros).

We're looking for someone who is as excited as we are about the surgical software tools we're building and eager to contribute his/her/their expertise to help nurture and grow our already-strong company culture and support our employees in the work they're doing.

Responsibilities
 

  • Provide leadership for onboarding, talent management, leadership development, performance, compensation, and benefits.

  • Develop and implement all of Kaliber's employee policies and programs (benefits, talent development, compensation, etc.).

  • Create and deliver all of Kaliber's management and employee training.

  • Develop and maintain HR resources for employees.

  • Design and implement strategies and processes to optimize growth, productivity, and engagement.

  • Implement systems and frameworks to build a world-class HR organization, including data and metrics to drive analysis and decisions related to people operations functions.

  • Create processes and systems to nurture a collaborative, inclusive company culture.

  • Drive DEI strategy and programs that foster a diverse and inclusive work environment.
     

Qualifications
 

  • BA/BS and 7-10 years of experience.

  • Proven track record as an HR/people operations leader with experience designing and implementing HR systems. Ideally, experience as the first people operations/HR hire in a fast-growing startup environment.

  • Experience working in the med tech and/or AI space will help you stand out. An interest in these fields is an absolute must.

  • A strategic and hands-on leader who knows how to roll up his/her/their sleeves and get things done.

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.

  • Highly collaborative multitasker who knows how to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
