IT Help Desk Technician

Kaliber AI is hiring an outstanding IT Help Desk Technician to provide support to customers of our next-generation, AI-powered surgical software. This is an exciting  opportunity for a talented IT technician with a strong interest in healthcare and medical technology to join a rapidly growing company working to make a real difference in the lives of surgeons and patients. Qualified candidates will be passionate about what we're building at Kaliber, and eager to contribute to the success of our wide-ranging line of products, which include patient communication and management tools and intraoperative guidance systems.

Responsibilities
 

  • Manage user account provisioning including new user setup, updates, renewals, and terminations.

  • Ensure all access requests comply with established access control procedures. 

  • Maintain records of user access requests, approvals, and terminations, as well as the disabling of information systems for auditing purposes.

  • Respond to customer queries over the phone, via email, in person, or through remote access.

  • Offer technical assistance for the delivery, configuration, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems, hardware, and software.

  • Document customer interactions.

  • Escalate issues when appropriate.

  • Follow up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved.

  • Run reports and analyze common customer complaints and problems.

  • Maintain procedures and reports that provide technical support to the entire organization and customers.

  • Support the implementation of new solutions and/or applications.
     

Qualifications
 

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.

  • 2+ years experience in a technical support role.

  • Relevant certifications preferred, but not required.

  • Working knowledge of relevant software, hardware, and applications.

  • Enthusiasm for solving complicated problems, coupled with the technical knowledge and analytical skills necessary to successfully identify and implement solutions.

  • Team-oriented attitude and a desire to help colleagues and other departments with technical problems.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage time and effectively prioritize numerous requests.
