Project Manager

Kaliber AI is hiring an experienced Project Manager to manage a wide range of IT projects from initiation to delivery to support our work building the next generation of medical AI applications. We’re a highly collaborative, mission-driven company and are looking for someone who’s excited about what we’re building at Kaliber and eager to contribute his/her/their expertise to the development of our products.

Responsibilities
 

  • Coordinate with product, data, AI/ML, software, hardware, clinical research, SQA, regulatory compliance, and other business units to effectively manage multiple global projects

  • Lead technical and business teams through agile processes and help streamline workflows and build consistency amongst different teams based on individual needs

  • Develop and maintain agile best practices, dashboards, and tools

  • Onboard and coach new teams through scrum processes

  • Partner with technical leadership to develop and prioritize the agile growth roadmap for the organization and lead prioritized workstreams

  • Instill a sense of urgency reflecting the goals for the current sprint, upcoming release, and project vision, while articulating the importance of meeting these goals and timelines

  • Ensure sprint-based meetings are effectively facilitated and that their outcomes are achieved

  • Anticipate critical risks and take initiative to appropriately escalate and resolve issues

  • Ability to manage a wide range of projects: software, hardware, and process (e.g., HIPAA, cybersecurity, regulatory)

  • Help set up a project management office (PMO)
     

Qualifications
 

  • BS in Computer Science or other STEM field

  • 5+ years of experience managing diverse IT projects

  • Experience working in a fast-paced start-up environment

  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred

  • Well versed in agile methodologies

  • CSM certification desired

  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skill set

  • Ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with individuals at all level
