SQA Engineer

Kaliber Labs is seeking an experienced SQA engineer to join our growing team and help us push the boundaries of medical AI applications. We're a highly collaborative, mission-driven company and are looking for someone who's excited about what we're building at Kaliber and eager to contribute his/her/their expertise to the development of our products.



Ideally, candidates will have a background in medical software (a background in AI is a plus), as well as experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Test new and existing features for Kaliber's AI-powered medical applications on multiple platforms and devices

  • Plan and execute QA-related activities

  • Develop, maintain, and execute manual test cases

  • Build test plan/test cases and ensure proper coverage is provided

  • Report, track, and verify defects

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience

  • BS in CS or related field (or equivalent work experience)

  • Background in AI, machine learning, and/or medical software strongly preferred

  • Extensive experience with QA methodologies and with developing and executing comprehensive test suites for system software

  • Thorough understanding of System Integration Testing

  • Experience with agile methodologies

  • Experience with test case management systems & JIRA database systems

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, as needed

  • Stellar verbal and written communication skills

  • A can-do, positive attitude and a bias towards action
