UI/UX Designer

Kaliber AI is hiring UI/UX designer to work on the next generation of AI-powered surgical software. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented designer with a strong interest in healthcare and medical technology to join a rapidly growing company working to make a real difference in the lives of surgeons and patients. Qualified candidates will be passionate about what we’re building at Kaliber, and eager to contribute their expertise to the development of Kaliber’s wide-ranging line of products, including patient communication tools and intraoperative guidance systems.

Responsibilities
 

  • Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences for surgeons and patients. 

  • Facilitate product vision by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences.

  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces, including web and mobile browsers, and mobile applications.

  • Deliver design implementation requirements to developers using tools like Figma and Adobe CC.

  • Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
     

Qualifications
 

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience with a strong portfolio of work.

  • Experience with medical technology and/or AI will help you stand out. An interest in these fields is an absolute must.

  • Experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

  • A clear understanding of  user-centered design and testing methodologies, and usability and accessibility concerns.

  • A strong problem-solver with an ability and willingness to learn quickly.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize to meet tight deadlines .

  • Stellar communication skills and attention to detail.
