San Francisco, CA. August 19, 2022 – Kaliber Labs has announced that orthopedic surgeon Dr. Shariff K. Bishai has joined the company’s Surgeon Advisory Board.

Fellowship-trained, Dr. Bishai specializes in Sports Medicine and Complex Shoulder and Knee Reconstruction and is a leader in orthopedics and sports-related medicine. In addition to treating patients, he also serves as an assistant clinical professor for the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, assistant professor for Oakland University William Beaumont Hospital School of Medicine, and former professor for the Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Detroit Medical Center. Dr. Bishai is the past president of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics and the Detroit Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA), and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics (AOAO).
