Sports Medicine Specialist Dr. Matthew Pifer Joins Kaliber’s Surgeon Advisory Board

San Francisco, CA. March 23, 2023 – Kaliber Labs has announced that Dr. Matthew Pifer, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon based in Santa Barbara, California, has joined the company’s Surgeon Advisory Board.

A fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic techniques, Dr. Pifer empowers his practice with a focus on identifying and utilizing the best available surgical tools and technologies. His approach employs not only cutting edge arthroscopic techniques, but also the use of biologics, such as stem cell therapies, to treat injuries and promote healing. Dr. Pifer has researched and published extensively in the field, including scientific papers, book chapters, and articles focused on advanced arthroscopic surgical techniques and the orthopedic rehabilitation of athletes. He serves as an Institutional Review Board (IRB) Member for the Sport and Spine Rehab Clinical Research Foundation and is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.
