Ms. Hundorfean was formerly the Chief Living Health Development Officer at Highmark Health, a $27 billion blended health organization. Having spearheaded significant advancements in patient care and health system operations, Ms. Hundorfean brings an extensive background in healthcare leadership.

At Highmark Health, Ms. Hundorfean worked with a team from the payer and provider organizations to help shape strategies that aligned with the organization’s Living Health model, promoting Value-Based Care and fostering a proactive, personalized approach to patient care. Her leadership was instrumental in creating a more integrated and cost-effective healthcare experience for patients and clinicians alike. Prior to Highmark Health, Ms. Hundorfean served as the CEO and President of Allegheny Health Network (AHN), where she led a financial turnaround and a $1.7 billion capital investment strategy, resulting in the construction of new hospitals and cancer centers. Her decisive leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic saw AHN host 145 community vaccination clinics, providing over 500,000 doses of vaccines. Ms. Hundorfean started her career with the Cleveland Clinic where she rose through the ranks to become the Chief Administrative Officer and assisted leadership with operational and financial oversight of 25 clinical institutes encompassing over 190 sites and 23,000 employees. She has been recognized multiple times by Modern Healthcare magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare” and one of the “Top Women Leaders in Healthcare.”
