San Francisco, CA. April 22, 2021 – Kaliber will participate in this year’s Digital Orthopaedics Conference San Francisco (DOCSF) as a finalist on “Bone Tank,” an orthopaedic and digital health pitch contest modeled after the popular television show, Shark Tank. Bone Tank begins tomorrow at 10am PT.
As a finalist on Bone Tank, Kaliber will pitch its work alongside four other startups working in orthopaedics and the digital health space: Glendor, Indago, KelaHealth, and TENZR Health. Kaliber’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Richard Angelo, will present Kaliber’s pitch and represent the company in the live Q&A that follows.
“DOCSF offers a unique opportunity to reach the orthopedic surgical community and share the innovative work being done by companies like Kaliber," Dr. Angelo shared. "I’m looking forward to presenting Kaliber’s work to the orthopaedic community and continuing to explore how Kaliber can improve the lives of surgeons and patients alike.”
DOCSF 2021 (April 23-24, 2021), presented in partnership with the UCSF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS), brings together surgeons, healthcare providers, and digital health experts and innovators to discover the latest in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal technologies.
“All of us at Kaliber are excited to be part of this year’s DOCSF and to be in the company of our fellow Bone Tank finalists,” Kaliber CEO Ray Rahman said. “We’re a surgeon-driven company and are thrilled to be bringing our AI-powered toolkit directly to surgeons.”
